Previewing the Michigan State Spartans

It's here folks ! We are at our first preview of the season and it starts with the Eagles' first opponent, the Michigan State Spartans !

Last season, was another tough year for the Spartans. They missed the NCAA's for the fourth straight season. The bad season meant the end of the line for Head Coach Rick Colmely, as Comley stepped down after his ninth season at the helm for the Spartans. Tomorrow's game will be the first for new Head Coach and former CCHA Commissioner Tom Anastos.


Players to watch out for- Brett Perlini (leading scorer from a season ago), Derek Grant (25 assist a season ago, led team in points), Captain Corey Krugg.
